This is a sample of the jazlerVS2 output. Contains video played from the news studio (Live video source) with three graphic templates overlaying it (Logo, News Logo + Time, Lower third titles) that can be updated or removed whenever needed.

Parental Guidance Graphics

Each video can be linked to a parental guidance category of jazlerVS2 and showed automatically when the video is aired so nobody forgets it. Prevents mistakes and penalties from your content watchdogs!

Jazler can either manually or automatically show graphics on your videos or live sources. Besides image sequences and animations, you can add dynamic text like the current time.

Show live graphics over your video or live input

Show lower thirds dynamically with an embeded text database

Create your lower third template using the LIVETEXT keywords and then you are able to show it whenever you want from the Dynamic Text Titles section of the studio. Everything can overlay either your videos or your live input.

VideoStar2 is the latest video automation product from Jazler software.

After the release of TVStar at 2005, VideoStar2 was designed and coded from the scratch, to be able to be expandable over the time.

VideoStar has all the features a video automation package needs, with an easy to use user interface, the least needed menus and buttons to complete a task and automated features to save time.

VideoStar can work perfectly in a local network environment to provide unlimited workstations to the production, marketing and sales departments.

Complete and revised studio environment
Integrated graphics editor
JazlerGTE is a user friendly graphics editor to place your static or dynamic titles on the video output. Overlays text, static png images or png sequences for graphic animations.
Easy to use graphics scheduling
Create multiple graphics, lower thirds, station logo, titles, parental guides and assign them to specific videos, dayparts or playlists.
Live graphics update
Create lower thirds and update dynamically with your titles while Jazler is on-air. Show or hide them manually, overlaying a video input, camera or a video playing in the jazler playlist.
Videos library with advanced editing
Editing your videos library has never been easier, offering to you unlimited ways to organize and categorize your video collection. Very useful for music television channels, but works flawless on general content channels too.
QuickEdit feature in videos library
Edit the properties of videos without entering their analysis, quickly and easily from the library screen. Just click on the video, and change its properties from the menu that will pop-up.
Mass change of categories, properties, file locations and parental guidance
You can mass change lots of properties just by clicking on videos with either Ctrl or Shift. Then right click and select your action.
Bumpers Library
Jazler hosts a dedicated library for all bumpers and station ID's. Every element can be categorized so it can be easy to find.
Advanced Spots Programming
The spots programming interface of VS2 gives you the ability to easily program different spots at different days and times quickly. It also gives you the ability to play random spots based on a list at specific times (mostly used for station ID's). The reports tool of Jazler, can also print down a detailed report so you can give it back to your client or media shop. (either for the scheduled, or for the actual report of played spots).The spots management system also gives you the abilty to adjust when your spots package will start or end. You can also be notified if a specific package exceeds a maximum time to avoid a crowded and tiring commercial break.
Events Library
A special library where you can store all your video elements that do not fit into the other libraries. These elements could be show intros and outros, news idents etc.
Direct Video File Playback
No time to import a file into Jazler and play it? Need to play a file immediatelly? The studio screen now hosts a browser for direct playback of video files without the need of importing them into the library. After inserting it into the playlist, you can also add specific graphics to overlay it.
Reports printing
Print your spot reports in a stylish document that includes your logo and info.
Security with user accounts to access only the libraries specified.
Be sure that only the authorized people have access to your valuable libraries.
Unlimited LAN workstations to edit libraries at the same time, while the studio is on-air.
Edit your libraries with Jazler Workstation, from any of your computers, at the same time that the Studio is on air . You have no restrictions on the number of the Workstations that will be installed.
Advanced Playlist Creation
VideoStar gives you the ability to manually create playlists, create automated playlists based on a clock (for music channels), insert commercial breaks so you can create the total traffic of a specific day, edit start and end points of videos specifically for a playlist without saving it in the library.
Monitor & Edit a video track just before airing
A new friendly environment, in the Studio mode, in which you can monitor and edit a track with ease and accuracy.

Advanced Automated Rotation Scheduling For Music Channels
The scheduler in VS2 is designed and based on the clock system, where you can create clocks and then program them what time to be active and play. A clock is a virtual playlist where you do not enter the exact song-videoclip, but its category or properties
Example: Song(Hot Current) > Song(Current 1) > Bumper (CategoryA) > Song (90's) (Pop) > Bumper (CategoryB) > Song (R&B)
Rebroadcast/pass through up to 3 different video sources
Have 3 different video sources for the Line-Input mode and schedule which one you want to be on air and when. Line-in mode can also be interrupted automatically for commercial breaks. Line input can also playback a USB Camera, with audio from a different selected source if needed.
SuperSearch Engine In The Studio
The supersearch engine gives you the ability to search for tracks in the library and returns to you results while you are typing. Supersearch also has the ability to search in the videos library like a search machine, searching the whole database to find a matching result (Name, Title etc).
Powerful Video Engine
The playback engine of Jazler can play most popular professional video formats, from SD up to 4K videos, even 3D! It also upscales or downscales a video to the output resolution you want with no quality loss. It also supports 2 different video outputs so you can output the main program in 2 different resolutions.
Embeded Audio Leveling
Audio leveling in videos has always been a headache. Jazler has two different engines (Compressor and AGC) that can smooth out the audio leveling of your videos.
RDS Text Transmission, RDS Text character replacement for localization and RDS Direct text transmission for Radio Stations that want to use VS2 and also playback video on their site.
Full control of the RDS right through the Studio. Edit the texts that you want be broadcasted on any day, at any time.
Import Playlists from external Playlisters
Jazler VS2 has a strong import engine to import text playlists from the most famous playlisting softwares. Jazler also produces a customized reconciliation text file to be imported back to the playlister so you can make your next playlists!
Import Commercial Break Playlists
Jazler VS2 can import programmed spots from external commercials playlist management systems.
Automatic databases backup & mirroring
Jazler creates automatically backup of all your libraries, making sure that none of your categorizations, statistics etc will be lost in case of a computer crash or malfunction . It also can make a mirror of the database on a different computer for emergency playout purposes.
Artist & Title text upload to your web-site or SMS provider
Let anyone know which video is "on air now", with a simple and easy procedure. VS2 also lets you publish the previous and next videos to be aired. All available in XML format, so you can manipulate the provided data exactly as you want. This feature also includes a custom made HTML file for quick results.
Mass videos import
Save extra time by letting Jazler automatically import the video contents of a whole folder, assigning the videos to a specific category. Then assign in seconds the optional parental guidance and extra graphics.
